This is a 7 week long course, each session being an hour long. We will look at helping you to better understand your anger; about learning strategies for managing emotions less aggressively and more constructively.

In this session we will look at how your thoughts, emotions and physical instinctive responses relate to your ‘triggers’ and influence how you react in anger

- Flight, flight and freeze
Riding The Wave Skills
In this session we will discuss some skills and strategies to manage emotions more constructively

- Calming Breathing technique
- Exercise and relaxation

- Hidden Anger
Beliefs & Influence
In this session we will track back to the origins of your beliefs and the influences surrounding you to better understand your anger response

Communication
In this session we look at the pros and cons of different communication styles and identify the role anger plays in the way you communicate.
- Submissive communication

- Assertive communication
Assertiveness Techniques
In this session we will examine skills and techniques for assertive communication when coping with difficult situations

- Conflict negotiation and Resolving Conflict
